This 5ml tube combines a gel separator and clot activator for efficient serum preparation. The gel forms a physical barrier during centrifugation, ensuring high-purity serum for diagnostics. The clot activator speeds up clotting, reducing processing time. Unlike vacuum tubes, it requires manual filling, making it versatile for syringe-drawn or pediatric samples. Compatible with standard centrifuges (1,500–2,000 RCF), it minimizes hemolysis and improves sample stability.
The common Yellow-cap blood collection tubes contain no additives, no anticoagulant or procoagulant components, and only vacuum. Used for routine serum biochemistry, blood bank, and serological-related tests, a variety of biochemical and immunological tests, such as syphilis, hepatitis B quantification, etc., do not need to shake after drawing blood.
The addition of coagulant to the coagulation tube activates thrombin and transforms the soluble fibrinogen into a non-soluble fibrin polymer, which then forms fibrin aggregates.
Our coagulation tube also contains a blood glucose stabilizer and replaces the traditional blood glucose anti-coagulation tube.
This vacuum tube uses a 5 ml gel clot activator tubes as an additive and a gel to separate serum and plasma.
